Daylight savings time

I see that my GPS has finally caught up and is showing DST rather than standard time.

network management for large voice networks. I am not sure if it is relevant, but Mexico just caught up this past weekend. Not sure if this is what caused your delay.

The GPS is programed for the old

rule. A fickle legislature changed things.

My computer is set to synchronize with an internet

time server and it was a pain cause it kept resetting to the wrong time. Seems like if the government is going to play with DST they should work some of the little problems on their own systems out first.

I've sent a complaint...

To Garmin about the DST change. They tell me that they have not done the software change on the Quest. Yet everything else was updated, and they knew about this two years ago. Go figure. 10 to 1 they do not do a software update for my unit.Anyway, when I sail with my GPS I have it set for UTC.

1. What did your cell phones do?2. I'm almost glad that I have a way-old GPS Magellan Blazer 300 where I, get this, have to actually RESET the time when it changes. Like Joe's article, how stone-age can ya get?

Stu, I don't have a cell phone but my server

changed the time on my computer without my help.

I can't wait for my electic bill to come and I can see all the savings congress promised by going to DST early!
