I recently purchased an O'Day Day Sailor 85 vintage. It had been sitting unused for several years. I knew the center board stuck, but was able to get it down by getting wet and physicaly pulling it down. We took it out the other day and experienced the same problem. Any suggestions on how I get the center board to function correctly?

Find out WHY it is stuck. Is the housing full of trash? Are there barnacles on the board or slot? Has the board absorbed water and swelled up? The Why will tell you what to do to fix it. Good luck. -Paul
