Day 94, K-50 Happy Talk's reveal...

After 94 days, we rolled Kettenburg 50, hull number six, "Happy Talk" out of the tent. Once we found out the owner couldn't meet his timelines or the PT Festival, we slowed down and did a little more than freshen up her topside. I'll post some pics of the topside tomorrow evening. Here are some of her reveal, as they now say...

Charlie, You are damn good at what you do. When all the work is finished when do you plan on refloating her? I'd like to drive over and see that.

The owner would like to launch Monday but I think that's overly optimistic.

Charlie, She is beautiful! This is probably a dumb question but I see in the tent she is on stands and when you are pulling her out she is on a trailer, with the tent still up behind her. How did you get her off the stands and on the trailer without a crane?

She is that. I think I like this color better than the avocado she was originally christened in. A lot of boat to refasten and restore in 94 days.....
