I installed Weaver Snap Up davits on our 2007 C320 MK. You can find photos of them at the Weaver Industries website. They carry our 10'3" Achillies LSI vertically across the transom of our boat. They are removable and don't mess up the lines of our boat. They snap up in multiple positions allowing us to raise our dinghy so the horizontally mounted boat doesnt hit the water while heeling when sailing in heavy weather. They were also lower cost than traditional cantilever stern mounted davits. I don't have any good photos of our set up yet, but the attached photo shows the Weaver Davit (quick kit) mounting plates on our stern swim step. It shows how minimalist this set up is.
