Hello Fellow Boat Owners: I am intending to add davits to my 2007, 393 Beneteau and have checked w/ a couple of suppliers. I am looking to support a 10' RIB along w/ a 15 hp Yamaha (total wt. w/ gas tank is 280 lb.). I have prices from b. Garhauer and Kato which are drastically different yet appear to be similar products. Does anyone have experience or suggestions about the above mentioned suppliers and/or another source to check into? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Before you go to davits try an arch from Beneteau. About half the price of a custom arch and much better than davits. I got one when I bought my 393. B does not have an arch specifically for the 393 but they do for the 423 and it fits with a little shimming. Go to the 393 site for details. There's quite a thread on it. I carry a 10'06" AB RIB with a 15 hp Yamaha 2 stroke on it on the arch. There's lots of pictures on the site of mine and other 393 owners that got the arch. You can see the arch in my avatar. But if you're dead set on davits try these guys> I got a set on my CS36 and they're great.
