This is the wind instrument I have on the boat...it works fine, but the LCD is getting dim/difficult to read. Thoughts on fixes? Is there a replacement instrument with compatible plugs of the same size?

No drop in replacement. Datamarine has been out of business a long time. However, several of their technicians formed DMI Marine and they will repair Datamarine and other instruments.
