I have a 1982 O'day 37. The DATAMARINE wind indicator (model 100 series) at the top of the mast is broken. Datamarine is out of business. I had sent them the pedastal unit a couple of years ago which they serviced and told me was in excelent cndition. However, they could not supply a rebuilt or new masthead wind indicator. Does anyone know where to find a epalcement part? Are there any compatible brands that could be placed on the masthead and work with the existing unit. New units are very expensive and would not fit prperly on my Edson steering column Any suggestions would be welcomed.

I had my masthead instrument rebuilt by BMI over the winter. Seems to be working just fine. ALso make sure your electrical connections are in good condition. dave
