Hi, I have a Catalina 36 with a Datamarine LINK 5000 system below deck and a Datamarine 550 Remote on the steering pedestal. The remote was recently exposed to a very bad thunderstorm with heavy winds, rains, and lots of near-by lightening. Since the storm, the remote has ceased responding to the touchpads. I did not take a direct lightening strike. I would appreciate hearing from anyone with this equipment who may have experienced similar problems with a remote. Thanks, Bill
