I've found them reliable

Well, My system works great. I'd rather spend $60 on a part, than $2,000 for a new system. On Bigger boats thats what these systems cost.One also should not rely total on the depth finder. Thats what charts and markers are for.

I have a 15 year old DM Dart system...

...on my 272LE. Works perfectly and is well cared for. I agree with Chris, don't rely too heavily on your instruments. Always crosscheck with other guides such as charts.BTW...you can still get parts and service in Pocasset, MA.Cheers,BobLink to my boat pics below.
