Several people have suggested that I should cut and paste all these posts into a book. Flattering idea to which I've given some thought but probably beyond my current ambition.

Now, I'm without a title anyway. I'm visiting my father and there is a biography of a former colleague of his on the table. The title is perfect but I would now have to think of something else.

Roger asked why some of the post get so
many hits. Then comments on suggestions
he write a book by cutting and pasting.

The answer is that many of Roger's Posts,
discussions and comments hereon are of
good quality and diverse topics.

Collecting, cutting pasting and editing all that
has happened here would be volumetric and
time consuming. It would be like herding
chickens.

I cut and past a lot on many forums of a
different nature. It takes time and thought
to coherently present a thought, and have it
mean what you want.

I do not doubt that Roger could do a fine job
if he could sit still for the length of time to do
the job.

It might be easier for him to get a computer
literate co writer to put a draft together.

Maybe the title "Home is the Journey" is up for grabs?

Not me, no way, wont do it...

I for one wouldn't want to SAIL vicariously thru another persons boating experiences... It's like knowing how the movie or that big game ends before watching it...

There's nothing like making and experiencing your own stories...
