Spell checkers are good for misspelled words only.They don't work so well for word usage and homophones (words that sound alike but are spelled different). Right-wright-rite-write,break-brake and your-you're are all spelled correctly but it's how they're used that a spell checker doesn't know.
I agree about the importance of sail trim. Years of racing ruined me for just sitting there and not being content with the trim. A well trimmed boat has a better, even a sweeter feel to it. Kinda like listening to music. Some people are satisfied with just a tone knob- if that- and some need a ten track mixer. Knowledge is power and I think it also increases the enjoyment.
