When r u leaving your home port and when r u arrivng in Cristfield? We r leaving Saturday morning, stopping in Solomon Is and arriving Sunday afternoon. Have a safe trip, 46 The picture shows our hunter 46 docked at the Shrimp Box Restaurant in Manasquan Inlet NJ after we took shelter from big waves, rain and windy conditions on our return trip from NYC in mid may.

Will be interesting to know how many people go

It's during the week and on the eastern shore. I would not be able to go - will be at a conference in San Fran for that week. Probably still have not gone since it was during the week. They like me to show up for work once in awhile. One of the nice things about Solomons was that some people could drive and attend. It's a long car ride to Cristfield. Jim S/V Java

Was the picture of your boat taking in Point Pleasnt Beach? If so is that all the Norma K charter fishing boat on the right in the picture? Cliff

Cliff, I do not know if it was the Norma K, but here is a picture from another angle. Maybe you recognize the Miss Point Pleasant II. Did you spend some time in Point Pleasant NJ? Jim, not to mention expensive and we will still have the same issue with getting power to keep the ACs runnning, at least we will have our own slip fwiw. *cry 46

Yes I did I grew up a block from ther. My grandmother had a house right on the main road that ran along the beach and I went to the Shrimp box for dinner with her when I was a kid. My older brother worked on the fishing boats and I can see in the picture the sign for the Miss Point Pleasnt. We have fished off this boat and thrown up many times off this boat as well. This was over alomst 30 years ago. I still have an Aunt who lives in the area and we have not gotten up ther in the last few year's. My dad now lives in N Wildwood down near Cap May. It was great seeing a place that I have not seen in quite a few year's. We now live in Ohio and sail our H 28.5 on Lake Erie. Thanks for bringing back some good memories. Cliff

I'm around the corner from you, up the Rhode. Would really like to discuss the NJ coast with you, specifically Manasquan inlet. I want to head north, but that specific inlet has me stumped. Would like to talk with you....perhaps venture over to Galesville sometime. dcdon@hotmail.com

Leaving Friday morning

We are heading out Friday morning for Solomons , Gt. Wicomoco (Sat) and Onancock (Sun)with arrival in Crisfield on Monday afternoon. I believe there are over 60 boats signed up - should be a fun time - see you there. s/v "Loverly" H 356
