Well, I tore into the old beast with the sawzall. But the blade we were using wouldn't do anything to the interior tank, so it's still in the lazerette. What is the inner tank made of? And, what blade did you use to cut it up?

Have you thought about................

just beating the hell out of the rest of the tank with a large hammer. You just need to smash the S__T out of it enough until it will slip out of the opening! All this aggression and it's only monday (isn't it?). PS: You guys are suppose to conserve on electrical consumption in CA. anyway.

Hammer?

You have room to swing a large hammer in that area? I guess I better take a look at a smaller boat! Ken Palmer 1981 H33, Liberty

Muscle and Hacksaw

Dave, I agree with on using destruction demolition to get to old tank out. After adequate cutting with a hacksaw, I banged the heck out of the remains, turning the tank on its side and was able to remove the 'remains' to the local metal recycler. Aside from a small blood sacrifice on my part, it helped to get out the aggression. Are you going to replace your water heater? Mine was located forward of the fuel tank under the cockpit. Have you found a version that will go into this area? Jeff
