Switched to 130 genny. blaise recomended, seems the boat acts more balanced and not so much weather helm. thanks for replys and input. I can always go back to cutter when cruising. but for what I sail in it works great.buy the way I did get rid of the staysail boom and made it a free flying never liked that club.

Did you remove the stay? Does the 130 stay outside the lifelines?

Yes Ed, I removed the stay but keeped the halyard line tied down to next to mast. it,s fairly easy to rig back up. as it is loose footed. and runs only on the track.the stay sail is hanked on.

My newest genny is a plastic 135 and it sheets inside the lifelines. It was made by UK Sailmakers and is a one piece molded sail. There are no seams in it. On the plus side the boat has never been faster, and sails higher than ever before. On the minus side it was 7k.
