Is the cutless bearing on a C&C 27 mark 2 (1973) measured in metric or standard. I am afraid that if I measure it in inches and it is metric that I will not get the press fit. Any help would be great. thank you Don

Doesnt matter, just be sure to measure 'accurately' preferably using a micrometer or dial indicator caliper taking several measurements (minimum three measurements, more measurements are better) and then averaging the results. 25.40 mm = 1.000 inches.

Usually most cutless bearings will have an embossed stamping on the OD of bearing that will identify and correlate to the actual dimensions ... so try not to totally destroy the old bearing when you remove it.

C&C was made in Canada, so most likely it's inches. Measure the shaft. If it is in inches, so does the bearing.
