Okay, so now I have the box of fiddly bits that go into the Combi and
also a brand new cutlass so I'm ready to go. On the other hand, what
I really want to do is go sailing and I don't have any quarrels at
all with my Combi at the moment, it's functioning perfectly. So, in
the interest of sailing instead of mechanicing, is there a rational
way to limit this effort to just one project. . .ergo, change the
sloppy cutlass bearing and wax the topsides and scrub the bottom and
replace the speedometer sender and grease the prop and so on. . .or
do I really get to learn to tear down the Combi now too? Anybody
live near Seattle who's comfortable with the operation? grin
