I have redone the wood handrails on our O'day 34 twice and prefer never to do it again! The factory setup is not very well designed and is extremely difficult to re-install as the exterior handrails bolt through the cabin top and through the inside handrails, requiring extremely precise alignment and screw length. I would like to replace the cabintop handrails with stainless steel, as well as changing the mounting method between interior and exterior hand rails I am looking recommendations as to who might fabricate them? There is a gentle curve to the handrail, and the mounting points are on a portion of the cabintop that is slightly radiused, so I am not sure exactly how to pattern something like that for a fabricator that is not able to come out to the boat?
