I want to replace the cushions on my 1975 H30. Has anyone replaced cushions, and how much can I expect to pay for this. Mine are full of diesel odor. YUK! Thanks all Barry

Ours were beyond repair.

My 1975 H30 had all 10 cushions including pilot berth replaced. All Cushions Sunbrella Fabric with Vinyl bottoms, Marine grade zippers and Marine grade thread and premium foam, 1999 $1590.

We also are about to replace all cushions and here are a few thoughts. 1 Try to pick a material that at least looks original for resale purpuses. For example, solid colors never seem to go out of style, where as any kind of pattern will get dated. 2 get extra material for throw pillows and cushions. 3 Look at the cabins and consider having other cushions made to improve seating comfort.

US Yacht Cushions

Barry: A friend of mine got a complete interior for a H'30, looks very nice and has held up very well. He has had it for about 3-4 years now. He got them from US Yacht Cushions. They have most of the patterns in stock and can modify the patterns if you wish. They will send you several samples of fabric for your review. They have very good prices too. I do not have the phone number handy, but you should be able to find them in the "Archives"

JSI

Barry, Suggest you contact JSI in St. Pete FLA. They have full service shop for all interior work. They have very fair prices and very high quality. They will send you a full kit for measuring for exact fit. You can check them out at www.sailnet.com or call 1-800-234-3220. Their great people to talk to and all very experienced sailing types. The other option is to e-mail Hunter direct and ask who has or is manufacturing cushions for them. I know there is a cushion mfg. in Clearwater, FL who made cushions for the Hunter factory back to early 80's. Sorry I can't remember his name but someone in customer service at Hunter might. Good Luck!! Regards, Joe Ciccone
