Peterbud,
Are you a member of the Mariner Class Association? They have a great Website and many helpful and knowledgeable sailors. Here is the link: http://www.usmariner.org/ This is a link to their classifieds: http://www.usmariner.org/content.aspx?page_id=2153&club_id=953644 .

I take it, you are a new Mariner owner. Welcome to the club. I own #2632 (a 1973 Mariner). I just got my cushion covers back from a seamstress friend and have yet to order the foam to cut my cushions out of. The old foam was thin and not closed cell, also, once I took the foam out, my new puppy decided it felt really good to rip big chunks out of it. Unfortunately I can't change my mind about replacing them now.

Also, Stuart Marine Corp. out of Rockland Me. is still making new Mariners and you can purchase new cushions through them. ( https://store.stuartmarine.com/ ) I found this set of used cushions on their Website. https://store.stuartmarine.com/used-parts-store/1972-present-mariner-cockpit-cushion-set . The 1972, I think is of the same style Mariner as the '76, so they should fit.

We found new Dacron wrapped foam (The Dacron wrapped was not much extra cost but we'll worth it.) on our previous boat greatly improved our comfort. It felt like furniture, as opposed to sitting on plastic. We purchased online because it was 1/3 the price of buying it locally. We did the upholstery ourselves and were delighted with the results.
