Indeed @Jackdaw: Most having taken their keels down to bare metal via sandblasting revealed the infamous "mexico" stamp. I'm #2552 built in August of '73 and I had no such stamp, but I can't tell the difference between mine and many others with the stamp. Same lovely materials

Just a comment, unless you are the original owner anything that can be unbolted and some that take cutting of fiberglass etc may not be what came with the boat, also the swing keel is interchangeable with almost any Cat 22 out there so who knows what year or place it was installed at. Part of the mystique of a preowned boat!
