Cure mildew odor in cushions

I just bought a 1980 O 23. It seems to be in pretty good shape. However, after being closed up for a few years there is a "stale, mildewy" smell in the cabin. I removed all of the cushions. My wife washed the covers in Woolite, in the bathtub. They seem to smell OK. The foam cushions have some mildew stains and smell mildewy. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how we can get rid of this smell short of purchasing new foam? ( New foam is pricey.) Also, what can I do to the fabric liner that is in the cabin? I would like to clean it to remove any stains and odors. Is there a spray that we can use to neutalize the odors in the foam or fabric? Does anyone have any experience with Febreze? Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks, David

Thanks, Don.

There is a wealth of information! I'm thinking of the vaccuum, and a plastic bag, then Lysol.
