Thanks for the new installment

Your posts are always a good read. By the way, the northern part of the Indian River lagoon also has some phosphorescence in the summer. It's about the same shade of blue as the alien force field in the movie "Independence Day" though not as bright as you described. Thanks again for sharing your journeys. Peter H23 "Raven"

Grindin' the paint off the keel

We know sand bars all too well. Sand is one thing but a rock ledge in current will send your blood pressure through the roof. Wahoo what a tale and almost rammed too. Unreal. Hey man tell me you were on a life line when overboard in a Bahamian pass? Ahh, if it weren't for the great adventure of it all you'd never remember it eh? A starry night at anchor, deserted sandy beaches, great company, even dramatic kitty rescues. We're turqouise green with envy. Thanks again for sharing your lifes adventures. You're a tough act to follow and we're all rootin' for your next succesful episode. You guys are great. Be safe. Aloha, Michael and Kelli ~~_/)_~~

I got no clue...

...but thats some more of brians fine custom fabrication work on the stainless motor mount. Hey how'd the keel shoe fare after your extensive rock ledge testing? Had a seasoned cruiser friend tell me that people have no idea how dramatic life can be, good and bad, until they go cruising. Sounds like you've got more up your sleeve too. Let'r rip. M&K

I think I see it . . .

I'm guessing you had to go back for Pocket Lint (hopefully it wasn't at night or in foul weather).

Yep, at night, in foul weather, surrounded by...

...(to be revealed in installment five) ...(proof that God exists!)

"Rock Ledge Testing"???

Hey Mike! "Rock ledge testing"? I like it! We just splashed E.P. yesterday after the keelboot and rudder repair. The good thing about experiences like that are they reveal the "weak" points in a boat... I hope I gave as good as we got on that ledge!! Brian

when you're a rock ledge....

..there's nothin' like a kick in the head with a stainless steel shoe. Take it to 'em baby and keep that helmet on that keel. You're killin' me with the suspense. I GOTTA get back to work and get my head outta the Bahamas. Egad. M&K

It has been said

..that there are two types of sailors, those that have run aground, and liars. Please keep up the posts. Thanks for taking the time to let us all enjoy your trip as well. Thanks again. Dave & Karen h23 "Wind Dreamer"

Landlocked in IOWAAAAAY

Thanks for the reading installments. Helps my mind to drift with the wind when I am locked on our lakes here in Iowaaaaay. But, Hey, it's still water and the wind blows fair --- most of the time. Keep up the fun, stay off the coral and forget coming back home, keep heading South and keep the posts coming.
