Hello everyone. Here in Buffalo, the season is just around the corner- everyone's thinking bottom paint and updates and lamenting the chores that were not finished before we tucked the ladies in for their long winter naps. This is our third season on our 26 foot O'Day and this year brings to us a new challenge. Our daughter, who was born last January and spent the better part of last season either sleeping in the V-berth or gurgling in a car seat at our feet. This season, however, will require a MUCH higher level of attention with Madeline walking, talking and generally getting into everything. I am looking for any tips/ tricks/ secrets anyone can provide for making life under sail with an 18 month old enjoyable for everyone. One great idea that was offered was to take a bucket, fill it with water, throw in some toys, put it in the middle of the cockpit and let her have at it- sounds like hours of refreshing entertainment and considering that the water all runs out thru the scupper, she can make as big a mess as she likes. Anyone have any easy entertainment ideas? How about safety tips? Obviously, sunscreen
