Hello All, We are looking for some cruising friends with small children to cruise, raft up, play etc in the Annapolis, MD area. We have a 1 year old and another one due in September and an 11 yr old who joins us in the Summer. We own a 2004 Hunter 33 and have cruised/day sailed the Middle Chesapeake for the last 3 yrs to include a DELMARVA trip in June 2005. Just looking for some other like minded younger families to hang out with and sail together and join for family fun. Wife is 34 and I turn 40 this yr.... Let us know if you are interested in play dates for the kids and/or adults while afloat on the middle Chesapeake. With the young kids we probably won't be able to sail as much this year, but it won't stop of from motoring, anchoring, hitting the different marinas with good pools, and enjoying the brand new 16K BTU AC unit I put in this winter. John

HHSA has a good program

Herrington Harbor Sailing Association has a good program for cruising and racing. They have a lot of planned cruises set for the summer as well as a full racing program. They have a new website: http://hhsa.clubexpress.com I've been racing with them for about 9 years and wish that I had my own boat so I join them. Its a very fun group and seems to have a growing number of families with younger children. Markdb

Glenmar Sailing Association

Most of our members call the Middle River/Patapsco River home port but we sail all around the bay. We have both small boat and PHRF racing programs and a family oriented cruising program. We are celebrating our 60th anniversary in 2007. Check us out at www.glenmarsailing.org Tom s/v Orion's Child
