Co-Skipper Bill and I will be cruising Michigan's Garden Peninsula at the head of Lake Michigan. We will put our O'Day 23 in at the Escanaba Marina and head past Little Bay de Noc and on to Big Bay de Noc. The plan is to explore both sides of the southern half of the Garden Peninsula. Can anyone comment on resourses for food and lodging in these areas? Any special preparations that should be made? How about options for berthing or mooring areas overnight? Are there any special hazards or features near the Peninsula? Are there good areas to anchor overnight? Any information about these or other topics is greatly appreciated. Thank you - - - Bruce
