I have a feathering prop made by Cruising Design inc that I have been putting epoxy on in preparation for antifouling paint. My question is, is the cam ( I think it is called) supposed to be able to shift as I switch gears? In other words are the props the only part that shifts position or do other parts shift as well. It seems to me that other parts moved before I did the epoxy and now they do not-but I am not sure. I have scraped all of the epoxy off but am wondering if some is in the crevaces keeing it from moving. If they are supposed to move what can I use to loosen the rest of the epoxy?
