*o The O'Day manual says 1) adjust the mast rake to the factory specs and 2) tune the shrouds to make the mast straight fore/aft and port/starboard. Any idea what the ideal upper, lower-forward and lower-rear shroud tension should be for 9/32 wire rigging? 90% of breaking strength? 80%? 70%? 60%? Is tighter better? The local rigger wants to tighten the rigging until "something gives" and then back off a bit. Not too scientific, eh?
