Crossing an ocean!

I guess with 19 footers making it to the Big Island, and someone in a 5 footer trying to circle the globe, plus the RA expeditions in paper boats crossing the Atlantic in the 6Os, then an ocean can actually be crossed just about on anything? Next will be an inner tube!

Thats right

You can sail around the world in just about anything for it is "the sailer" in the yacht that gets them there.

No guarantee!

Regardless of the size of the vessel, there is no guarantee that you will make it! Glass bottles have been floated across oceans (not all of them make it).
