When perusing the forum, came across a "critical upgrades-do these or else" posting for a Catalina 34. The posting was 11 pages and seemed quite helpful. Does anyone know of such a document for the Hunter 34?

I purchased my H34 Nov. 2012. I started the "minor issues" thread as I sought guidance for my remediation efforts. I would start at the through-hulls (replacing the gate valves with ball valves at least), then the compression post. Hull blisters need sanding and the hull resealed. The keel needs fairing and sealing. After that attacking issues becomes a matter of preference. Cockpit seat supports, battery selector switch, sails, refrigeration, engine panel and kill switch, raw water intake size, wash down pump, head hoses, solar panel installation, house battery bank, chart plotter, cockpit table, television, stereo, inverter, and the list goes on...
Thank you for your recommendations. I've owned boats before, and am familiar of the seemingly never ending string of fix-ups that occur. I've seen your name as the author of several responses to questions, and I certainly appreciate this response.
I agree that the Catalina 34 "Critical Upgrades" section is very helpful. Many of the topics there are appropriate for your Hunter - and many other boats. For those of you who have not visited that site, check it out! :dance: I started using it when I had my Catalina 34, and still go there frequently now that I have a Catalina 400.
