Hello all. Been away for a while since the old boat was sold. I am taking possession of a 2000 Catalina 310 this month. The boat is currently located in the Baltimore, MD area and she is going to be moved to Farley State Marina in Atlantic City, NJ which is an approximately 26-30 hour trip.
My problem is that my normal crew has some availability issues and of the 5, only 1 or 2 may be able to make the run and I am on a departure time constraint.
The plan is to leave the Bay area the night of 07-29 or early morning on the 30th (depending on the tides, etc) and arrive in Atlantic City on 07-31.
If anyone is interested in a short run to AC from Baltimore, I could use the help. The only requirement is that you have a good sense of humor and some working knowledge of sailing. If you are familiar with the upper Chesapeake Bay, Elk River and C&D Canal, that would be great...but not required! The exact number of people needed depends on whether or not some of my people can make the proper arrangements. May be anywhere from 1 to 4! Just want to get a head start on the planning.
If you would like to help out, send me a message at gpd955@msn.com and we can discuss further details via phone. You can also post on this message and I will answer any questions so the answers would be public.
Thanks,
Jack Manning
