Ok so I am looking at ways to make the boat more enjoyable for my family (wife and 3 boys). One hair brain idea I have is to extend the quarter berth across into the port locker. This of course would have to begin behind my refrigerator (installed in place of aft galley drawers). I would build a box across to the other side of the hull and fiberglass it in place. There would be storage under the port side of this new bed and the locker would be shortened to the level of the cockpit sole.
