What would you suggest for rigging a 23.5 for an asymetric spinnaker? I was thinking of cheek blocks on outer cockpit coaming ahead of rear cleat(no stern seats). Have a CDI jib furler, so have spare halyead, or should I go with new mast block? What about tack location?

no cheek block

Cheek blocks are unnecessary. A couple of small blocks, with springs to stand them up, shackled to a padeye, toe rail, lifeline stanchion, or track car if the track goes there, as far back as possible. Rig an adjustable tack line that you can control from the cockpit. Attach it at the stem fitting, add a strap to hold the sail close to the forestay if you want. Halyard should be run through a swivel block shackled to the masthead in front of forestay. Finally, build a set of "twings" or "tweakers" to control the sheet angle. Here's some professonal help: http://www.cruisingdirect.com/RiggingGennaker.htm

thank you Joe

Follow Joe's advice. The jib halyard will not work. Spinnaker halyard has to on top of the forestay.
