Cheek blocks are unnecessary. A couple of small blocks, with springs to stand them up, shackled to a padeye, toe rail, lifeline stanchion, or track car if the track goes there, as far back as possible.Rig an adjustable tack line that you can control from the cockpit. Attach it at the stem fitting, add a strap to hold the sail close to the forestay if you want.
