I need to move my outboard remote control from the rear vertical surface of the starboard cockpit seat to someplace else that won't cause the cables to have too severe a bend in them. I checked the archives and found an article where someone mounted the remote on a piece of starboard material up on the side of the stern pulpit next to the stern rail seat. It looked great. But Crazy Dave suggested this was a bad idea.
I can't imagine why, but perhaps it's because of the routing of the cables? The pictures didn't show the cable routing. Is Dave out there to clarify? Or does anyone have suggestions why this would be a bad location? It seems awfully convenient!.....Rich
