I am trying to remove the crankshaft pulley using a bolt-on pulley removal tool. I have removed the center bolt and large washer under it and screwed back in the center bolt loosely. The center bolt has a divet on it which the pulley removal tool engages. With a 3/8" drive ratchet attached to the removal tool I was unable to break the pulley out of it's position. I am going to spray some WD-40 around the pulley and tap the pulley with a Ball Peen hammer. I know PB Blaster might work, but I am concerned about damaging the front oil seal. Any suggestions appreciated!
