I am considering installing fore and aft hull bottom support runners on my lift cradle. My boat is presently in the water and I would prefer not to take it out for the purpose of directly measuring the deadrise of the hull at various stations along the hull. Could any one with a similar boat lift tell me approximately at what angle to the base (looking at cross sections of the hull for the after portion of the hull where the deadrise is about the same) line should I cant the runner pieces so as to maximize their contact with hull bottom? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated?
