Cracks in gel coat. Aesthetics question.

I have some cracks in the gel coat of my 84 oday 26. Some extend from the flat surface into the non skid area. I know how to fix this. What I need advise on is how to deal with the two different surfaces. I'd rather not grind off the whole deck at this point. I know that job is in my future, I just need to put it off for a few years. How would you patch this and still have It look reasonably good?
