Cracked Hull - 37 Foot Oday

I am looking to buy a boat in the 35-40 foot range. In my search, I came across a 37 ODay, 79 model. I was informed by someone that these boats had a flaw in the hull and were known to crack. My question is, are there any further stories out there to confirm this; and is this a problem found in other 37-foot ODay's?

I have not heard of this problem but if a survey shows it is not cracked now I would think after 23 years it probably would not crack later without some help on the owner part.Good Luck
