Cowling Vents-5" Dia. Low Profile

I bought a 1984 Hunter 34 last week and had it hauled from Clear Lake, TX to Ausin, TX in the process one of my two cowling vents was lost. I have tried several resources to locate one and have had no luck. I have been told they have been out of production for years. Does any one have any thoughts on how to locate one?

Another thought

Remove the remaining vent and all hardware, cover the 5" holes with starboard, or teak, etc. then buy two new to fit the area.
