Does anyone know a source for the cowl vents on a Hunter 34? They are an odd size, 5" or 5.75" I think. Hunter gave me the name of the mfg in California. I called but they have discontinued them.
Hi Bob, I understand they are no longer available. What I intend to do when mine are no longer attractive( i painted them two seasons ago) I intend to seal the existing holes in the dorade box with a sheet of lexan, or plexi glass and buy vents that aer similar. John Kudera s/v 50/50
A neighbor with a 34 refitted the vents with currently available stock units by simply using a teak adapter (custom made by him)to adapt the opening to a stock size vent. It dressed up the area better than new. I have no more details, he sold the boat and it is gone.
