Cowl Vents

Any one ever put screen or any such thing to keep critters and wasps from coming in the cowl vents on the stern?

I added screen the the cowl vents, to hold in in place I used three inch PVC, cut in 1/2-3/4 wide, then cut a section out making a spring. Some final adjusting until it fit in place holding the screen..
