I live in Calgary Alberta and was going to go but planes are packed and 1000 km is to far to drive in the snow

Nanaimo had snow just last week, we just returned from Cowichan Bay where my father-in-law had snow on his back 40 for a few days. Disappeared by Xmas, but I saved some in the freezer.
We had a steak barbecue on the boat last night. the Christmas lights I strung up on the boat nicely lit the area for me. We bought her in Nanaimo exactly one year ago and sailed her home across the strait in early January. Can't wait to get back out.
