$540 in 2007 for mine. After that, I purchased a sock and keep it enclosed by hoisting the sock on the spinnaker halyard (that I installed for that purpose).

I used just a sacrificial Dacron strip to keep the weight down so that the sail would fly in light conditions. If you don't care, use Sunbrella for the longest life.

The Sunbrella material holds up pretty good but it is the quality of the thread used and how it is stitched on that will keep it in place. Our sail loft guy recommends it be replaced every 5 years, as we sail year round and the sun and humidity are fabric killers, but I usually get 7 years before some blow tears it to pieces. Not sure about the cost for your headsail but to give you an idea for our 110% headsail on the h320 using Sunbrella plus new straps we paid $450 in 2008.

Sail lofts have a better thread to use if asked. It costs more but the thread is the key and well worth the extra cost.
