On a 1987 37' Legend, the outlet of the aluminum holding tank appears to be corroded and will not seal properly to the hose. There are no threads on the outlet. Any suggestions other than a new holding tank. Thanks much
If an exposed nipple is corroded, I'm surprised the tank isn't leaking. You could repair it, but it wouldn't be worth it. I suspect there are places in the tank body you'll be able to poke your finger through when you get it out.
Hi Peggy, thank you very much for the quick resonse/suggestion. Is there an "easy" way to remove the tank vs. tearing down a lot of the walls, etc? Seems like there is no quick fix in removing it w/o substantial carpentry work. Tnx much Terry Griggs
