Hello all, I replaced my old PVC mixing tee with a brass one . Now I cannot get cool water to flow to the impeller . Dimensionally there the same , but I'm stumped. Looking forward to the feedback , kind regards, Shannon

first off you don't want a brass fitting running sea water through it it wont last a year and could sink your boat or burn up your engine use bronze...now is that a tee or an elbow you have there if its an elbow why didnt you just put the nipple in the 90 fitting and forget about all the other stuff....and also i notice it looks like you have a gate valve on a through hull fitting you also need to replace that with a ball valve bronze that is

went back and looked at that pic again i see you have a tee feeding the engine from that gate valve and something else feeding off that same valve via the tee with a brass fitting what does it feed

My bad everything Is bronze . I'm thinking I will plug the mixing tee and just have better cooling . I will install a plug under the thermostat housing and also plug the 90 deg fitting
