Cooling a C30

I am considering buying a 82 C30, but Iwould like to have air conditioning while out of port, is this possible? Is there enough room? Would I be able to use a large inverter, or possibly a gen set?

not without a gen set

I wouldn't try to run an AC unit from an inverter. The amount of 12v power that the inverter would take for the AC startup and running would drain even a modest battery bank down fairly quick. I would say if you have to have "at sea" AC, buy a small generator to power it. Panda makes a very small unit that runs very quiet and would power an AC and other small ac current items well.
