I am trying to find a replacement Coolant overflow container for a Catalina 30 - the Top disintegrated - any ideas who to contact would be appreciated

I went to my local car parts store Autobarn and they had an exact replacement.

Do you just need the top?

Is it only the top of the reservoir that's bad? I replaced the top on mine with a wooden plug. The type of cone shaped plug they sell to plug holes or thru hulls. I cut it down to make it shorter and drilled a hole thru the middle to allow air so as not to pull a vacuum. It works great.

Mine is gone, too.

I also have a cap to the coolant reservoir that is totally rusted through and currently held on with lots of duct tape. I have been meaning to take the cap to the local hardware store to see if I can find a replacement. Can you let us know if Catalina direct has a replacement for just the cap- I suspect you'd have to replace the whole reservoir just to get a new cap.
