if it isnt, it could blow the lid off or crack the tank when the pressure rises in the system... or not if its a strong tank.
either way it would never work properly as a recovery tank without a vent to atmosphere.

Problem No flow of antifreeze from recovery tank to manifold .
The 90 deg fitting on the manifold was completely plugged.....
so I un plugged it.
Next the threaded hole in the manifold was plugged and I cleaned it.
Still no flow..........
I'm not sure what the cross section is on the manifold showing the drilled
hole allowing fluid to manifold.
