My last boat had a Doyle Stackpak sailcover and I liked it very much. Now I have a 1994 Hunter 30T with UK sails and a Dutchman system. I would like to convert the mailsail cover to a Stackpak and remove the dutchman without changing the sail. Is this possible???

Stackpack Retrofit

The Doyle Stackpack is a patented Mainsail stowage system that is a relatively complicated item to build. For this reason it is not practical to convert an existing cover to a Stackpack cover. You can however remove the Dutchman terminals have a new Stackpack cover built and attached to your existing sail. If your existing Main is 10 years old it might be better to have a new Stackpack Mainsail with Stackpack cover built together rather than investing a considerable sum of money in the old sail. Thanks, Bill Colombo Doyle Sailmakers
