I'm looking at buying a 1986 27' O'Day 272 and it has tiller steering but I really like the wheel steering. Can I change the tiller steering to a wheel and if so how is that done (or how much does it cost)? Any advice would be helpful.

Better off to find a 272 LE ....
this subject comes up every year or so and the amount of work need to add on the wheel ... plus the fact that Edson seems not to stock some of the parts anymore ... makes the decision a no brainer. Vic SEVEN 272le #622
