Converting Porta-Potty

I have seen a couple 22's at the toilet pump out station - they must have converted the Porta-Potty to a pump out. Has anyone done this - HOW?? Rik

If you have a certain Porta-potti (called an MSD, Marine Sanitation Device) it can be hooked up with a pumpout pipe. The Thetford 875MSD is an example. They are made to have the pumpout option.

Pump out head?

I am considering the purchase of a boat that has a "real" marine head. How are they pumped out? We trailer sail, and there are no pump out stations available, except maybe an RV trailer "dump station". Previously, we had had a porta potty, but have never been exposed to a built in head with a holding tank. Any ideas how I could make this work? Thanks
